Unter der Kabine oder am Fahrwerk montierte Sensoren (Kameras und LIDAR) erfassen den Greifer oder Haken sowie den Boden und alle Objekte oder Gebäude im Arbeitsbereich des Krans. Das Videosignal der Kamera wird auf einem Bildschirm angezeigt.


Das System berechnet anhand der Sensordaten die genaue Position im Raum von Greifer oder Haken. Als zukunftsweisendes Kran-Assistenzsystem ermittelt die Künstliche Intelligenz daraus die Augmented Reality-Elemente:


  • Das virtuelle Lot zeigt die Position und Drehung des Hakens oder Greifers über dem Boden oder einem Objekt an. Dies hilft dem Kranführer, die tatsächliche Position des Hakens oder Greifers im Raum aus der Kabine oder vom Bildschirm einer entfernten Station aus zu bestimmen.


  • Die virtuelle Kollisionsanzeige projiziert eine Linie in der aktuellen Höhe von Haken oder Greifer auf Gebäude oder Objekte im Arbeitsbereich des Krans. So kann dem Kranführer immer einschätzen, ob die Bewegungen des Hakens oder Greifers sicher sind.

If the system detects an impending collision between the grapple or hook and any object in the crane's working area, it creates an alert on the HMI and stops the crane. When used with partial or full autonomy, the system will circumvent the obstacle.
